Melissa Alexander
Funeral Director & Embalmer

Melissa joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in 2007. She transitioned to one of our company's other facilities, then rejoined Fort Lincoln in 2012. Melissa has over 10 years of experience in the funeral service industry. A graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, A.M.S., B.M.S. Melissa is currently licensed in Maryland and Virginia.

Timothy D. Brown
Crematory Operator

Timothy joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in August of 2008 after previously working as a family service counselor with Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Tim is a native of Winchester, VA which is where his background in the funeral service industry began. He serves at the Crematory Operator at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home and partners with several of the company's other facilities for all cremation services.

Sonja Montgomery- Cheatham
Funeral Director & Embalmer

Sonja Montgomery-Cheatham joined the Staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home family in February of 2007. Sonja is a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer in the District of Columbia and Maryland, as well as, being a licensed Pre-Planning Specialist. Sonja holds a Degree in Mortuary Science from the University of the District of Columbia. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Breta L. Francis
Funeral Director & Embalmer

Breta joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in 2009. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Salisbury Univ. in Salisbury, MD and an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from the University of the District of Columbia in 2003. She is a licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Aaron Lattimore
Maintenance Porter/ Funeral Assistant

Aaron joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in March of 2012. In his role he takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the funeral home and the company's fleet of vehicles. Aaron also assist the funeral directors and staff with the daily operations of the facility. He also enjoys assisting families in their time of need. Aaron’s passion outside of work consists of volunteer work for a local Rescue Squad.

Richard L. Thompson II
Licensed Mortican & Pre-Planning Specialist

Richard joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in June of 2004. He is a graduate of Clark Atlanta Univ. with a B.A. degree in Business Admin. and concentration in Management. He also holds an Associate of Science degree from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. Richard has over 17 years of experice in the funeral industy, he is licensed in Washington, DC and Maryland. Richard resides in Washington, DC.

Samantha R. Washington
Funeral Director & Embalmer

Samantha joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in 2006. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in MD, DC, and VA She is also a licensed pre-planning specialist. Samantha earned her Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from the University of the District of Columbia in 2006, then earned her Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Biology in 2011. Samantha enjoys spending her free time with her daughters.

Pamela A. Williams
Administrative Assistant

Pamela joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in 2008. She has been in the funeral industry for over 14 years. She enjoys assisting the families in their time of need. She is very active in her church. Pamela loves spending time with her family and roller skating. Her greatest joy are her two grandchildren. Pamela also enjoys traveling the world, and exploring something new one day at a time.
